Visa applicants and users are urged to read the Disclaimer Policy, User Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The use of this website and services provided by VFS Global are subject to the acceptance of the same by the visa applicant/user. Receiving from visa applicants completed visa application form, supporting documentation (collectively, the "Documents") and the applicable fees, and returning the passports upon receipt to visa applicants across the counter in person or by courier to an address provided by the visa applicant on the visa form or to such identified point of delivery as determined by VFS Global. |

Submitting of the Documents to the Embassy of Denmark in Accra, Ghana, on behalf of the visa applicants. |

Visa applicants are urged not to approach or use services of unauthorized persons, entities and touts. Visa applicants are also advised against divulging any information relating to payment receipts, passport particulars and related details to any third persons. Visa applicants alone shall be responsible for any resultant consequences and may also become liable for appropriate prosecutions and liabilities.
User Terms and Conditions
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Embassy/Consulate reserves the right to ask for further documents, information and material to assess the applications and in its own discretion decide on the basis of such information, material and documents submitted or furnished.
The grant or refusal of a visa is the sole discretion of the Embassy/Consulate. VFS Global is neither involved in the process nor is it liable for any decision nor is it responsible in any manner whatsoever for any delay in processing or granting or rejecting the visa as this is the sole prerogative of the Embassy/Consulate
While VFS Global takes every reasonable care and precaution in handling and delivering the Documents of visa applicants, VFS Global shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the documents including passport/s (“Documents”), for any reason whatsoever or in any manner howsoever (save where it is proven in a competent court of law that the loss or the damage was due to the willful, intentional or reckless act of VFS Global or any of its staff acting in the course of their employment). Further, VFS Global shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever to any visa applicant/s for any Documents lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (acts of God) or any other reason outside the control of, or not arising out of any willful act or default by VFS Global. VFS Global does not warrant or guarantee the delivery of the Documents, material or information as a visa applicant may require, but will extend and provide services to the extent and to the points as notified and communicated to a visa applicant.
The access and/or use of the Denmark-Ghana website (www.vfsglobal-denmark.com/ghana) name of the website) is at the discretion of VFS Global and use by anyone may be restricted or terminated by VFS Global at anytime.
VFS Global may engage third party entities such as courier companies for the movement of Documents between the visa applicants and the Embassy/Consulate. The visa applicant agrees and accepts that the courier acceptance and delivery service through which the documents are received or returned to users by VFS Global is operated by a third-party. VFS Global does not control or operate such courier companies or their services, neither does it control nor operate any facility/ service provided by such courier companies
VFS Global expressly disclaims any and all liability for any delay, loss or damage caused to the visa applicant/user in the event that such visa applicant/user’s Documents are delayed/misplaced/lost/damaged by the courier company, whether such delay/misplacement/loss/damage results from negligence, accident or any other cause whatsoever. In no event shall VFS Global and/or its representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever due to such delay/misplacement/loss/damage of the Documents, including but not limited to the visa applicant’s passport. It is understood that courier services are arranged only on the request of visa applicant/s and VFS assumes no obligation for the same. Applicants remedy, if any will be only against the courier company and the visa applicant/s consents to the same. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, the total liability of VFS Global, if in an event any Documents are lost or damaged in transit, is limited/restricted to the reimbursement of the amount of the actual fees charged by the respective department or such competent authority , for the replacement of a lost/damaged passport through the normal passport application procedure. Such reimbursement of the fee amount will be made by VFS Global to a visa applicant only on the presentation by the visa applicant of a valid proof of payment..
By using the services available from the domain and sub-domains of the Site, the visa applicant /user agrees to the following terms and conditions, including those available by hyperlink (the "Agreement" or "User Agreement") with VFS Global and the website/s of its affiliate/s, joint venture partner/s, agencies, subsidiaries and clients. If you reside outside India, you are contracting with VFS Global Services Pvt. In case of any unlawful, illegal or prohibited use, the user shall be liable for action under Indian and Ghanaian laws as amended from time to time.

| Without limiting other remedies, VFS Global may at its sole discretion or at the advise or under the directions of its clients limit, suspend, terminate temporarily or permanently, disable or prevent a visa applicant/user from accessing/making use of its service, prohibit access to its website/s, remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep user/s off the Site if VFS Global thinks that the user is or is attempting to resort to abnormal usage or abuse, creating problems, potential or otherwise or possible legal liabilities, or is not acting consistently with the normal usage. |

When the visa applicant/ user provides VFS Global content which shall include personal information of user and audio signals / video images of the visa applicant/user captured at the VFS Visa Application Centre (User Information) and/or stored in CD/DVD and made available to the Embassy/High Commission when required, the visa applicant/user hereby gives consent to VFS Global for using the all such Information and/or storing such User Information and making available to the Embassy/High Commission when required and grants VFS Global a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and sub licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights the user has in the User Information, in any media known now or in the future. Visa applicant gives full consent VFS to capture audio signals / video images at the Visa Application Centre, transmit and stream the same on real time or quasi real time basis, store and/or make available recordings of such audio signals/video images on CD/DVD format or any other medium to any place whether in India or otherwise in any mode for purposes relating to the visa facilitation process.
VFS has taken necessary steps to implement and maintain security practices and procedures to protect User Information from unauthorized access, damage, use, modification, disclosure or impairment. VFS has in place suitable protection mechanism and guidelines for usage, retention and protection of User Information against unauthorized access, disclosure or abuse.

While VFS Global makes and strives to provide secure and continuous connectivity and internet access, VFS Global, the Embassy/Consulate and/or its clients shall not be responsible or liable to a visa applicant/user for any loss or consequential damage, including among other things, any loss of dates obtained, time, data or information furnished or entered on the website or the application forms, etc which may, among other things, have occurred as a result of any events or acts leading to interruptions in internet connectivity, transmission of signals, server breakdown, systems crashing, hacking, servicing and any other events or acts.
Visa applicant/user agrees not to hold VFS Global responsible for other users' actions or inactions, including acts or things as a result of which there may be loss of connectivity, loss of dates and/or loss of data furnished.
Further, while secure and continuous access to the service is sought to be provided, VFS Global does not guarantee continuous or secure access to its services and operation of the Site, as the same may be interfered by numerous factors outside the control of VFS Global. Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted, VFS Global excludes all implied warranties, terms and conditions. VFS Global is not liable for any loss of money, time, goodwill, or reputation, or any direct, special, indirect, or consequential loss or damages arising out of the visa applicant/user’s use of its website.

The visa applicant/user agrees to indemnify and hold VFS Global, its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint venture partners and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the breach of this Agreement, or violation by the user of any law of any country or the rights of a third party

| Except as explicitly stated otherwise, legal notices shall be served on VFS Global’s authorized agent at: Kamalacharan Building, Plot No. 179/180, Jawahar Nagar, Goregaon(W) Mumbai 400 062, Maharashtra, India and to the visa applicant/user at: the email address and/or address provided to VFS Global during the online registration process. Notice is deemed given 24 hours after an email is sent. VFS Global may issue legal notice by email or to the address provided during the online registration process. |

| This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Maharashtra between its residents, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. The user agrees that any claim or dispute he/she may have against VFS Global including but not limited to those that may arise from the use of this website or services provided by VFS Global must be resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to the exclusion of all other courts.
VFS Global, is located at Kamalacharan Building, Plot No. 179/180, Jawahar Nagar, Goregaon(W) Mumbai 400 062,, Maharashtra, India. If the user resides outside Mumbai, India and accesses the Site, the services are offered by VFS Global subject to the user’s acceptance of the jurisdictional terms and conditions. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. In its sole discretion, VFS Global may assign this Agreement. Headings are for reference purposes only and do not limit the scope or extent of such section. VFS Global’s failure to act with respect to a breach by a user or users or others does not waive its rights to act with respect to any breach, subsequent or similar breaches. VFS Global reserves the right to take action as it may decide, or advised and or as directed by its clients.
VFS Global may at any time amend this Agreement/part thereof by posting the amended terms and conditions on the Site. Except as stated elsewhere, all amended terms shall automatically be effective as at the time of accessing the website and using the services. By accepting the Privacy Policy and user agreement, User expressly consents to our Privacy Policy.

Information Collection: All information, posted, furnished and submitted by a user or users while scheduling an interview appointment online is converted into such formats as may be required and communicated to the Embassy of Denmark, Accra. The information so collected may be stored, transferred and shared by VFS Global, or any of its affiliated agencies, partners and any law enforcement agencies as would be required under law and mentioned herein. VFS Global may collect all information furnished by User, and identifiable by the passport number, portal, server, I.P address etc., which is traceable in relation to the VFS Global site or in relation thereto, such as IP address, E-mail address, contact detail information and other information like transactional information of User’s online usage, IP address, log-on information and standard web log information etc.
User gives consent to VFS to capture audio signals / video images at the Visa Application Centre, record such captured audio signals/video images on CD/DVD or other formats or any other medium to any place whether in India or otherwise only for purposes relating to the visa facilitation process |

User Account Information, Password & Personal Information: User’s passport, fee receipt number, date of birth and name are key to User’s account. User is advised to exercise caution in disclosing User’s information and not to disclose the same to anyone. If User shares his/her password or personal information with others, User will be solely responsible for all actions taken in the name of User’s account. If User loses control of the same, User may lose substantial control over User’s personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions for actions taken on through their account or on User’s behalf. Therefore, if User’s password or personal information has been compromised for any reason, User should immediately notify VFS Global and ensure appropriate safety and security measures. |

Accessing, Reviewing & Modifying Personal and Other Information: User can see, review and change most of their personal information by logging into the site. Generally, VFS Global will not manually modify a user’s personal information because it is very difficult to verify any user’s identity or other details. User must promptly update User’s personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Once User submits any information, they will be able to change or remove it only up to 48 hours before the time and date of the interview. VFS Global retains personal information of users in order to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce the terms and conditions and take other actions otherwise permitted by law. You consent for VFS to capture audio signals / video images at the Visa Application Centre, transmit and stream the same on real time or quasi real time basis, store and/or make available recordings of such audio signals/video images on CD/DVD format or any other medium to any place whether in India or otherwise in any mode for purposes relating to the visa facilitation process.

Security: User’s information is stored on VFS Global’s servers located in India. VFS Global treats data as an asset that must be protected and uses tools like encryption, passwords, physical security, firewalls, and other security features and measures to protect its website and users personal information against unauthorized disclosure, access, misuse, abuse, hacking etc. However, sometimes third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse a user’s/users’ personal information that they may collect from the website for which VFS shall not be liable.
Therefore, although VFS works very hard to protect users’ privacy, it cannot guarantee User that personal information or private communications will always remain private and secure. |
