From 1 January 2011 onwards, beside the visa fee and the service fee, any
foreign national who applies for residence permit will have to pay an
additional processing fee. The processing fee will be different according to
the visa type and must be paid before the submission of the application.

The visa waiver for Taiwanese passport holders will enter into force on
