VISA to Denmark

Scheduling an Appointment
With effect from 01 June 2018, it will be mandatory to have an appointment for the submission of all type of applications and enrolment of biometrics at the Denmark Visa Application Centre in Thailand.

Please click here to book an appointment

Before you make an appointment you should carefully read the visa application process on this website to submit your online visa application and supporting documents at the application center.

1. As part of the visa application procedure, you will need to provide biometric data which includes electronic fingerprint data. If you have temporary injuries on your fingers, please wait until the injuries have healed before you book your appointment. Henna on fingertips may also mean we are unable to get a clear scanned image; hence this should be removed or allowed to fade before your appointment date.
2. If you are part of a family or group, each member of the family or group must make an individual appointment. For example, if you are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children you must make 4 individual appointments.
3. An application will not be accepted at the VAC if the Applicant name does not match with the one used for booking the appointment.
4. Please carry your appointment letter with you at the scheduled date & time to the AVAC to show it to staff / security guard.
5. Please make sure you arrive at the visa application center 10 minutes prior to your appointment time
6. If you have missed your appointment on the scheduled day, the system will not allow you to reschedule or cancel and you will be required to book a new appointment after 24 hours.
7. You can reschedule your appointment only for a future date and up to a maximum of 2 times.

Step 1
Applications for Danish / Icelandic visa and residence permits are accepted at the Visa Application Centre.

Step 2
Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Denmark.

Step 3
Please go to the link “All about visas” to understand details of various visas.

Step 4
Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Visa Application Centre / Embassy of Denmark, Bangkok
