09 Sep, 2010: VISA Warning
It has once again come to the Embassy's attention that some visa applicants and their references are offered assistance to smooth the visa process by various agencies both in and outside of Bangkok, including agencies in the immediate vicinity of the VFS outsourcing center in Amarin Tower.

The Royal Danish Embassy would like to stress that these agencies are nothing but an unnecessary expense for both the reference and the applicant, and the Embassy cannot strongly enough warn against using such agencies. They and have NO competence what-so-ever in dealing with the actual case processing of an application, and not seldom, they are even the cause of an unnecessary extension of the case handling process as they are not acquainted with the exact rules and produces pertaining to the visa processing.

If applicants or references have any questions to any of the steps concerning an application for visa, or stay permit for that matter, please check our website: http://www.ambbangkok.um.dk/en/menu/ConsularServices/Visa/

or call us during our telephone hours Monday - Thursday from 1 to 3 pm on tel.no. 02 343 1100 (choose the Visa Section).

You may also contact the external The Danish Visa Application Centre, VFS, on tel.no. 02 2525490 for further information.
